Founded by Karen Hubbs, a female entrepreneur who took a leap of faith in 2013 after serving as Director of Sports Marketing for Visit Johnson City and the Chamber of Commerce, The Goose Chase has grown into a beloved event management company hosting over 10,000 participants annually across half marathons, 5Ks, and themed races. During the pandemic, when events came to a halt, Karen launched the RUN423 brand — a creative way to keep the spirit of movement alive and celebrate Northeast Tennessee (area code 423). Since then, our apparel has grown to include gear for runners, walkers, and golfers alike.
